Through the territory of Sierra de Cubitas, the process of balance of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) began in this province of Camagüey to evaluate the implementation and fulfillment of the Ideas, concepts and guidelines emanating from the EIGHTH Congress.
Yuneisy Ramos Vázquez, head of the Organization Department of the Provincial Committee of the PCC, explained that in the 13 municipal assemblies and in the four districts that will take place between November and December, it will be analyzed how much progress has been made, or not, in solving the main problematic, from an integrative, objective, critical and self-critical approach.
The delegations of the Assemblies are made up of those who make up the candidacies for members of the Party Committees, those who leave the leadership of that structure, general secretaries and militants with results in their radios of action or who represent socio-economic sectors of impact.
Among the issues to be analyzed, Ramos Vázquez pointed out, the role of militancy and its exemplary character stand out; the work of grassroots organizations around the commission of the entities to which they belong; the role to promote economic development in agricultural production, the sugar harvest, exports, import substitution, the provision of services and in the confrontation with COVID-19.
According to the website of Radio Cadena Agramonte, the functioning and internal life of the Party, the suitability of the general secretaries, their authority in work centers and communities, the growth of the ranks, the attention to the Youth Union will also be analyzed.
